New Beginnings .

Winter is the water element;the time of self-reflection and new beginnings.

We reflect on the past year of events, decide what we need to release and and other aspects of the self we need to strengthen to bring into spring of new beginnings.

As the kidneys and bladder work their hardest in this season we need to release excess fear and develop courage to create change.

"Be aware of what you think and feel, it happens, this is daydreaming"

Wintertime is cold and it is important to keep your yoga practice consistent, even though staying snug under a blanket is more inviting. We can do Both! Move the body, get the juices flowing then go home and crawl into your cocoon with fresh, clean juices and clearer feelings, rather than holding onto damp stagnating energy.

Join our winter yoga workshop; get motivated and don't lose momentum, spring is around the corner. Have a little social time with fellow yogis and yoginis.

Practices include:

  •  Yin Yoga - Asana (postures) for the kidneys and bladder
  •  Chi Kung
  •  Pranayama (breathing)
  •  Meditation
  •  Visualisation and Sound
  •  Helpful informational talk on winter asana, food and herbs
