After smoking for 15 years, I have gained my will power through alchemic yoga to quit.
It has given me the confidence to do public speaking, which is an essential part of my career.
The past 7 months in Natalie's class have been a wonderful healing anchor for me. She holds a lovely energy and wisdom as a yoga teacher. The work on the internal muscles and organs grounded me physically and emotionally in the process I am in and working through, in a positive way. Affecting shifts in my well-being and perception of my options and surroundings. The class and workshop participants all compliment Natalie and her teachings to make for a strong unit that is committed to wellness and balance in their lives and relations. I have found practicing yoga with Natalie has had a profound imprint in my life. Whereas everyday life used to be a chore, I now have a new appreciation for life.

Not always an easy task when you consider the depth of what she is teaching, which is a complete system that draws from her years of experience in yoga, as well as other systems like chi kung. It was the final cure to my long-term allergy problems, by showing me how to balance out my acid/alkaline levels.
After 17 years of Hatha yoga and multiple injuries it has shown me how to work gently with myself, yet reach deep into my inner substance to challenge my hatha yoga practices.
The 7-day chakra retreat totally energised me and put me in place, a great foundation for a deeper personal home practice of meditation and asana.

I have been a yoga client of Natalie’s for over twelve months and have enjoyed significant health benefits as a result. When I first started Natalie’s yoga practice I was at the early stages of recovering from Chronic fatigue Syndrome so my energy and movement level was limited. Natalie introduced me to her unique style of yoga and her individual approach to working with the body and I very swiftly reaped the rewards of not only improved physical but also mental and emotional wellbeing. As I rediscovered my body’s strength and capabilities, I increased my confidence and self esteem plus reduced my stress levels.
I personally believe, after years of trialling many, many forms of yoga and yoga practitioners that Natalie’s Anahata yoga philosophy is the best I have encountered. Natalie draws on her excellent knowledge of the body to take a very considered approach to introducing a beginner to yoga. I have been participating in Natalie's unique style of teaching Alchemic yoga for the past 25 years. Not only has she become a good friend she has helped give me the tools to transform and grow into the person I am today. What Nat offers is a space and place for everyone to be themselves. I have just completed 12-18 months of counselling.
I went last week and was told that I have made major progress and was told I don't need to see him for 6-8 weeks and depending on how I am going, I don't need to go back until I feel I need to.
I feel like I am a completely different person. Happy, self contented and no more tears (well, no more than any one else).
I can't thank you enough for the time you gave me and opening me up to the path of self-discovery.

Just wanted to thank you Natalie for the retreat, you shared and gave so much, also the food was soooo wholesome and delicious!!!
I have noticed some changes within me and it feels good. I have been feeling happier ever since, a bit flat today but I know that's just the mind.
I am waking up at 6.30 every morning and going for a walk and doing my breathing exercises and mental quietness before work. I think doing this this at the retreat three days in a row changed my old habits.
Natalie’s class is one of the best yoga's ever. She knows her stuff and lets you in on what is happening every step of the way. There's nothing worse than an inattentive instructor! She has sense of humour too, so it's not all daunting, back braking twists. She brightens the room up and you feel like you have done exactly what your body has been begging for. Get there a little early as this class can fill up quick.
For the more relaxing class, the meditation and yoga with Natalie again is just dreamy. Meditation is the focus of this yoga class and it lifts you up and prepares you for a superb slumber.
I didn't really know what to expect before we went, but I think it was one of the best things I've ever done. It was so much more than yoga, I actually really enjoyed the whole holistic approach of cooking, being in nature, meditation, being around other people, being in another environment, the partner stretches and the theory that you did.
I learned a lot again and I am feeling great and very relaxed at the moment. We are only 2 days into the workweek, but I've been able to hold on to the feeling yesterday and I'll try to hold on to it over the rest of the week.
I began yoga from recommendations from doctors and dentists due to my chronic anxiety, which causes me to hold tension in my jaw and neck. Natalie's unique personality and gentle yoga style suited my needs and I felt that the regular classes were really helping me with my anxiety.
As a relative beginner to yoga I feel lucky to have started with a teacher like Natalie. She has a wealth of knowledge and a lovely desire to share it. She is a natural educator.
Thanks Nat, great workshop as always), you hold a really inspired space, your so easy to drop down into relaxation with or into some invigorating, challenging yoga. You also make everything fun, intuitive and intelligent as we all learn greater ways to evolve and live in better health.
