Join Natalie Almond at Goolawah Bush and Beach retreat where the whales will be passing by.  Venture into your inner and outer nature, discover the five elements within you and know that your make-up is no different from this planet.

As we work with and become aware of the five elements we are not only creating healthy balance in our emotions but bringing health and balance to our internal organs, energy meridians, energetic field and to the planet as a whole.

We will do this through yoga, meditation and theory sessions, beginning with the wood element, the element of ether or life which is our spring element.

 You will discover for each of the elements:​

  • Which seasons they coincide with.
  • The organs working strongest in each season.
  •  Where the organs are situated in the body. 
  • The emotions each organ creates.
  • How we are affected by the seasons.
  • Why we should work with the seasons
You will know:
  • When is the best time to fast 
  •  The easiest time to create transformation
  • How to let go of and cure unwanted emotions   
  • How to stabilise the emotions
  • Processes of the digestive system 
  • That we create our own reality through our thoughts, feelings, posture and the way we digest life.

  • Foods to eat in each season
  • How to utilise the elements to create transformation
  • To easily bring the emotions into stability within minutes

  • Breath work to enhance energy in each element to strengthen the organs.
  • Meditational yoga practices bringing awareness to the way we move.
  • Theory classes to give in-depth knowledge and understanding

​About GOOLAWAH BUSH & BEACH RETREAT

Goolawah means “yesterday” in the Dunghuttti language. The land is significant to local Aboriginal people, and their word for it is appropriate.  Goolawah is exactly like yesterday – untouched by the footprint of development.  Rich in edible resource, the area is highly significant to local aboriginal people, who still nurture a close connection with this land, and often camp here to maintain their culture.
 
Situated just 2.5 km from Crescent Head village along Point Plomer Road and just a stones throw from a selection of magical surfing beaches and national parks along the untouched back roads.
Boasting a stunning leafy outlook, ocean views and sea breezes. Situated on 28.5 acres, Goolawah Bush and Beach Retreat will make you feel instantly relaxed and at home in our cosy cottages.

​About Natalie Almond 

My love and my forte are to feel energy, flow with it and weave it throughout the retreats, creating a warm community feel. 

My retreats deeply intense and at the same time help you to break out and have fun. Some of my sessions are deep intense classes of yoga (internally strong, not a crazy workout), meditations and circles. We also light-hearted fun sessions.

"If you decide to come alone you will not feel alone, you are more than likely to leave the retreat with lasting friendships".

I have been practicing yoga and the healing arts for 31 years.  With a background in yoga, massage and many other healing modalities I was able to heal myself of a few chronic illnesses.  I believe this happened through great teachers, self-belief, self-love, dedication and diligence.  With this came great learning and understanding of the way I connect with the universe and myself.  
I am trained in Alchemical Yoga from the ancient tantric tradition and Hatha Yoga, I practice chi kung and placed self study in the Satyananda tradition.
 
My training of healing modalities are Digestive and lymphatic treatments, Reiki, PrimeTuning of cellular vibration, Horsteman technique, Thai massage and Remedial massage.  I have learned a lot about herbs and food.

Alchemic yoga focuses on the three essences of body, soul and spirit and their relation to the chemistry of the body. We first separate the three to wash away old beliefs or ails, create a new pattern, and then fix this into the cells allowing
"manifestation of the best".  Creating your perfect chemistry 

​This style of yoga creates increased internal flows, core strength, balance of the glands, strength in the organs and activation of the chakras. 
Alchemic yoga is suitable from beginners to teachers, for all that wish to heal and grow.
Natalie finishes with deep, guided meditations allowing you to reset your vibe. Teaching a unique style of yoga (only 5 teachers of this style in the world) that will increase the flow of lymph and blood ten fold, as the fluid flows and energy moves you will transform your old inhibiting patterns. This is flow yoga in its truest and purest form.
Re-vibe with your sound, recreate through your visualisation, rejuvenate as you stretch and move in a gentle but strong yoga style 'alchemy'.  Create transformation in your health, your emotions and your DNA.

Natalie has moments of breaking out and makes you feel ok to do that too.

The most beautiful, interesting and deep yoga and meditation. I learned loads of new, amazing, things.  After practicing for 11 years I've been on the surface and  just gone deeper.

Casuarina, Grevillea and Banksia are loft cottages. Sleeping is in the loft, downstairs contains lounge, kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Balcony with outdoor seating
